Recently, I have bought Sims 3 Hidden Springs and Sims 3 Dragon Valley. Hidden Springs was purchased from Amazon as a new game, still sealed in the protective wrapper. Dragon Valley from Gamestop, claimed as new. However, when attempting to redeem either game both came up as invalid, redeem code has already been applied. Is this a result of the Redeem Code Generator (random free online code generators for Sims 3 games)? Or do I simply have terrible luck? Are pre-used Sims 3 games entirely worthless? Meaning that somewhere on our plant we have a heaping trash mound of useless Sims 3 games. You would think, after so many years, that the creators of Sims would have an option to show 'proof of purchase', making it possible for pre-used games to be redeemed a second, third, forth time. I am hoping that all of this is because I am doing something wrong, although I have other expansion/stuff packs and have had no issue installing them. Is this simple stupidity on my part? *blush* If it is I would very much appreciate a savior. I now own two games that I am uncertain if I should return because what if they actually work or what if they continue to recirculate upsetting some other unlucky gal/guy.:D
